In early 2016, Tallahassee-based composer and keyboardist Jared Clark created Xyloglyph as a medium for his musical and conceptual ideas. Since then, Clark has developed the solo project into an aesthetically unique jazz-rock act.

Xyloglyph presents an updated take on classic jazz-influenced rock sounds with influences from Herbie Hancock, Pat Metheny, Chicago, and even the Doobie Brothers. This fresh synthesis of jazz and classic rock creates the distinct sound that is Xyloglyph.
